Dr. R. Pfleger GmbH, a medium-sized pharmaceutical company located in Bamberg, Germany, was established in 1945. It is completely owned by the
Doktor Robert Pfleger Foundation, an organisation which directly supports basic medical research as well as charitable and social causes. In co-operation with domestic and international pharmaceutical companies, it operates as both a licenser and a licensee, Pfleger has greatly expanded its range of products. The company now markets approximately 30 medicinal products, with a primary focus on urological, gynaecological, and dermatological indications.

Our main product is Spasmex®, an antimuscarinic drug used for treatment of unstable bladder, urge incontinence, and reflex incontinence. It is also used as an antispasmodic in gastroenterological indications. Spasmex® is registered or pre-registered in Germany, Argentina, Austria, the Baltic States, Brazil, Chile, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Russia, the Slovak Republic, Singapore, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey.
